Community guidelines

AloKafana does not yet accept content from users. These guidelines describe the rules that will apply to venue events when that feature launches, and are published in advance so they are not a surprise.

Who may post

Events may be posted by the venue they are about, or by someone acting on its behalf. Do not post events for a venue you have no connection to.

What belongs in an event

Something actually happening at a real venue, at a stated date and time.
An accurate title and description.
Photos you have the right to use.

Not allowed

Events that do not exist, or venues that do not exist.
Harassment, threats, or content attacking people for who they are.
Hate speech, or content promoting violence.
Sexual content, and any content involving minors inappropriately.
Promoting illegal activity, including the sale of alcohol to minors.
Spam, repeated posting, or anything unrelated to the venue.
Someone else's photographs or text, used without permission.
Other people's personal information.

Reporting

Every event will be reportable from inside the app. Reports are reviewed and content that breaks these rules is removed, normally within 24 hours. Accounts that repeatedly break the rules lose the ability to post.

Alcohol

AloKafana lists venues that serve alcohol. Events must not encourage excessive drinking or target people below the legal drinking age.
